The Minson Tract is one of two Land Trust properties in Montville, Connecticut, the other is the White Oak Preserve. This property was acquired by donation in September of 2000. At just over 18 acres the land is mostly forested with a mix of open brush and grassland along the access road. A long arm of the property stretches down to the Thames River. As of this writing there is a parking spot, but no formal trails. Click on the map below for directions (located off of Massapeag Road).

Minson Tract Cemetery:
Karen wrote down some of the names:
Calvin Stoddard. Died 12/22/1844. Aged 43 years
In memory of Mark Stoddard April 28, 1838 (or 1888?). Aged 61.
Anna Stodard wife of Mark. Age 70.
We had a survey completed back in January 2007 to clearly identify the lot boundaries for the main portion of the property. Photographs of the survey can be found at this link: Survey data 2007
