Property Highlights

New trails were cleared next to the new preserve sign on Memory Lane in 2022.  The new trail crosses an old “stone bridge”.  Years ago, loose stones were dumped on an old path to cross a low area which likely flooded in the spring.  The trails have not been completed, but once below the bridge, the woodlands are easy to hike through.  At the crest of a ridge on the west side of the preserve, the Niantic River can be seen in the winter.  Below the ridge, there are stands of mountain laurel. There is a brook on the east side of the property which runs north-south, and a swamp at the northern end of the brook.

Access

Plenty of parking along Memory Lane. Enter the trail at the property sign.
